Dante’s Prayer was originally recorded on The Book Of Secrets:

Breathe life into this feeble heart
Lift this mortal veil of fear
Take these crumbled hopes, etched with tears
We’ll rise above these earthly cares

Cast your eyes on the ocean
Cast your soul to the sea
When the dark night seems endless
Please remember me
Please remember me

If you are a Loreena McKennitt fan, the DVD, Loreena McKennitt: Nights from the Alhambra, is a must see. When I saw her perform a year ago in Los Angeles I was truly awestruck by how effortlessly she sings with a voice that has been truly gifted by the angels.

Daily Inspiration: Faith

By: Pamela Leavey On: March 30, 2009 at 10:40 am

One of the most profound and moving books I ever read was Sam Keen’s Hymns to an Unknown God.

I find myself often these days reading back through the many bookmarked pages I have saved. This quote from Hymns to an Unknown God jumped out at me this morning:

Faith is dancing in the dark.”

To change our lives we must often take leaps of faith into the great unknown.
